The Godz - Contact High with the Godz (1966)

Eu não tenho a mínima idéia de como classificar essa banda novaoirquina (não confundir com uma banda de heavy metal homônima dos anos 70): proto-punk, noise acústico (!!), psicodelia esquizofrênica... O fato é que a banda formada por Jim McCarthy, Larry Kessler, Paul Thornton e Jay Dillon fez alguns dos álbuns mais esquisitos dos anos 60. Anti-música, dadaísmo, arritmia e desafinação faziam parte do seu coquetel primitivo (ou vanguardista? I Don't know). O álbum traz faixas ótimas para irritar seu vizinho como "Lay in The Sun" (cuja letra se resume a "All I want to do is lay in the sun"), "1 + 1 = ?" e "Na Na Naa". Para quem gosta de coisas muito, muito, muito esquisitas.

Sally Oldfield - Water Bearer (1978)

Primeiro álbum solo da irmã do Mike Oldfield, Sally teve uma difícil tarefa sendo irmã do já aclamado Mike quando lançou este disco, principalmente depois de fazer com maestria parte de dois dos maiores álbuns do irmão. Tarefa que cumpriu com êxito total, um disco lindo, melódico, especial! altamente recomendado!
