Quinto álbum do Moody Blues, e o primeiro lançado pelo selo Threshold.
Foi inspirado na ida do homem a Lua, as canções giram em torno dos temas de viagens espaciais e crianças, com forte influência psicodelica.
É o quarto do que são popularmente considerados "núcleo sete" do grupo (ou Classic Seven) álbuns de 1967 a 1972, e, como tal, representa o auge de sua carreira para alguns. O álbum ficou impossíveis de tocar ao vivo, devido à orquestrações extremamente exuberantes e uma grande quantidade de overdubbing. Por esta razão, o álbum seguinte, por uma questão de equilíbrio , era mais despojado e básico em instrumentação.

Thanks for this one.I really like it.
One small, probably uninteresting point: Mike Pinder normally did not use a Mellotron, but a Chamberlain. Sounds almost the same, but is an very different instrument. AO: David Bowie played it on Low, Heroes and Stage.
