Um dos melhores blogs que já tive a oportunidade de conhecer foi removido, o motivo desconheço, mas nada é motivo para deletar o trabalho de 5 anos de alguém que ama tanto a musica como o Vvche.

The band was formed in Athens in 1998 by six members and former members of The Last Drive, Honeydive, Rockin' Bones and Engine-V. After playing locally for about a year, including a slot in Rockwave festival in 1999, the Earthbound recorded its debut 7" single "The Valley/Riverside Song/Tercera Cancion", released with Fractal Press magazine.
The Earthbound signed to Trade Records and recorded their self-titled debut album produced by their sound-engineer, Jim Spliff. It was released in 2000 and featured 13 songs, including three covers of songs by Kyuss, Woody Guthrie and Guillermo Portaballes that showcased the band's diverse influences.

Edwards Hand - Stranded (1970) UK Psychedelic Rock NEW LIN

Gravado no Morgan Studios em Londres Produzido por George Martin, assistido por John Miller e lançado pela RCA Victor, a arte da capa original, conforme visto no lançamento no Reino Unido, foi um desenho em preto e branco de estômago rotundo de um xerife produzido por Klaus Voormann (famoso por concepção da capa do álbum Revolver dos Beatles). O desenho se refere a uma faixa sobre um dos policiais racista da América, Sheriff Myras Lincoln, que foi proibido nos EUA. Uma nova capa foi produzido para o lançamento nos EUA, desta vez uma fotografia de uma mão, dedos abertos, sob as estrelas e listras. Todas as músicas foram escritas por Edwards e Hand.

Gittin' to Know Y'All é um álbum gravado durante a Baden-Baden Free Jazz Meeting em 1969 e lançado em 1970. Possui duas faixas pela Baden-Baden Free Jazz Orchestra, uma pelo grupo do grande Terje Rypdal, uma por Karin Krog, e uma pelo Willem Breuker - John Surman Duo. Esta sessão é histórica e foi a primeira vez que muitos desses músicos europeus e norte-americanos de jazz tocaram em conjunto.

Swiss band KEDAMA was formed in 1971 by Christian Linder (guitars, keyboards) and Richard Rothenberger (keyboards), and the band as such was finalized when drummer Peter Suter hooked up with them in 1972. In 1973 the band won a rock band contest giving them free studio time, which were used in between gigs to create and record their 1976 debut album "Live At Sunrise Studios" - a live in the studio recording where the trio played quirky instrumental numbers with references to the likes of Gentle Giant and King Crimson.

Only two years later the career of Kedama hit full brakes though. Debts were accumulating, and the changing musical climate lead to fewer people wanting to see the band perform live. After a concert with an audience of just 30 people in 1978 the band decided to call it quits.

After several years of a steadily building interest in their first album a CD reissue saw the light of day in 1999. The popularity of this second release of the album spurned a partial reunion of the band. Linder and Rothenberger got together and recorded new material, which surfaced as the self-titled CD "Kedama" in 2002.

Kedama has since recorded at least one more full length album, "Hope Is...", which have yet to see the light of day. Furthermore, material enough to fill 3 more CDs have been recorded as well, but has since been scrapped over the years as the creative duo after consideration felt that this material didn't fulfill their ambitions.

Time will have to tell whether or not any more of the material from this Swiss act will see the light of day sometime.   (Progarchive)

Não me considero uma simples ouvinte, sou uma pesquisadora musical, por vezes mudo meu interesse imediato, mas o interesse por musica é e sempre foi uma marca forte de minha personalidade, lembro de meu avô materno me dando minha primeira vitrolinha quando ainda bem pequena, pequena mesmo menos de 3 anos, pois ele morreu quando tinha 3 anos, enfim... O gosto por musica veio de berço, chegou comigo, em minha casa só minha mãe tinha alguns lps de orquestras, meu pai era maníaco por cinema. Como pesquisadora estou no momento mais uma vez prestando atenção ao Krautrock, mais uma vez porque já foi e voltei ao gênero diversas vezes, desta vez e cada vez mais atrás de raridade, obscuridades e também fica cada vez mais difícil encontrar perolas perdidas, mas a busca continua. 

Nestes últimos dias publiquei alguns discos de kraut e um deles é bem difícil de achar, eu mesma não achei nada na web e olha que quando pesquiso vou longe, se você é como eu e adora encontrar novidades velhas e vem aqui se valer de meus achados por gentileza me ajude nesta busca encontrando algo me avise, me diga, me conte.

Vamos a banda de hoje: Kalacakra uma jóia, verdadeiro clássico do Kraut, os caras tem apenas este disco e vale a pena conferir, enjoy!
